Terms of use
Last updated: 30 Aug 2026
These terms are between you and the operator of the Tailorsim instance you use. Opening or using the portal means you accept them.
Acceptance
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Guest use of the editor (without sign-in) is still covered by acceptable use and liability limits below.
Account and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep passwords and tokens confidential
- When you sign in or end a session (log out, expiry, or closing the tab), we may record your IP address and that time for account security and access review (see the Privacy page)
- Activity under your account is your responsibility — notify the operator if you suspect unauthorised access
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or harm the service
Your designs and content
Pattern designs, specification files, and meshes you upload remain yours.
When you save to the server, you allow us to store and process that content to provide what you request (library, editor, drape, print).
You confirm you have the rights to upload content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
Acceptable use
- Use Tailorsim to draft, test, and store pattern work through the features provided
- Do not attempt to break into systems, disrupt the service, distribute malware, or abuse APIs
- Do not upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content
- Do not use the service to create content that violates applicable law
Service limitations
Tailorsim is a web drafting and simulation tool — drape results, printed layouts, or body fit are not a guarantee of real-world garment outcomes.
Verify measurements, materials, and construction before production.
The service may be interrupted for maintenance or change without prior notice on demo instances.
Third-party services
Sign in with Google, body generation via human-api, or external hosting are also subject to those providers’ terms.
We are not responsible for outages or policies of third-party services you choose to use.
Termination
You may log out or delete designs at any time.
Instance operators may restrict or end access when needed for security or legal compliance.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or harm from relying on simulation alone.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when features or law change — the date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
